Apartments for People Who Work Where They Live
You’ll spend more waking hours in your next apartment than any renter a listing site was designed for. We find San Antonio floor plans that hold a real workday — a den with a door, wiring confirmed in writing, quiet that survives 10 a.m. — matched to your budget, at no cost to you.
Free to renters — the community pays the referral fee, and your rent is the same either way.

Why us
What We Check That Listing Sites Can’t
The floor-plan read
A “study” on a brochure and a room that holds a desk, a chair, and an eight-hour day with the door shut are different things. We read the actual plan — dimensions, door placement, which wall the outlets sit on — and tour with the workday in mind.
Internet verified at the unit
The marketing page says “high-speed” and stops there. We ask the community to put the provider serving the unit, the wiring type, and the realistic ceiling in writing before you tour — because upload matters more to your Tuesday than any word on a brochure.
The daytime test
Leaf-blower schedules, breezeway traffic, the upstairs neighbor’s treadmill at 2 p.m. Most renters never ask about a community’s daytime because they spend it elsewhere. You’ll be home to hear all of it, so we ask before you sign.
Call light and coffee radius
A video call needs light that lands on your face, not behind your head. A workday sometimes needs to leave the apartment. We note which plans put windows where cameras want them, and what sits within a short walk — coffee, lunch, a gym.

Alternatives
How we compare

A Home Office vs. Coworking Plus a Smaller Apartment
The genuine alternative to renting an office-sized apartment is renting an office-sized desk somewhere else and shrinking the apartment. Reasonable people take both routes. Here is the comparison without a thumb on the scale.

A Home Office vs. the Coffee Shop Circuit
Plenty of good working years have been run out of coffee shops, and San Antonio’s café stock makes the circuit genuinely pleasant. This page takes the option seriously instead of sneering at it — and is honest about where it stops working.

Moving for an Office vs. Making Your Current Place Work
The cheapest home office is a desk in the apartment you already rent. Sometimes that is the whole answer and moving would be overkill. This page is about telling those cases apart — including the version where we advise you not to move.

Common questions
What makes an apartment right for working from home?
Four things, and only one shows up in listing photos: a floor plan where a desk and a door actually coexist, internet infrastructure the community will confirm in writing, a daytime that stays quiet while you’re on calls, and light a camera can use. We verify all four before you tour, because you’ll be living in this apartment at 10 a.m. as well as 7 p.m.
What does the service cost?
$0, and the mechanism is worth understanding: when you lease, the community pays us a referral fee out of the marketing budget it spends anyway. Your rent is identical with us or without us — if it ever weren’t, that community would come off our list.
Can you tell me the internet speed at a specific apartment?
We don’t quote speeds, on purpose — a secondhand number is a promise we can’t keep. What we do is get the provider serving the unit, the wiring type, and the realistic ceiling stated in writing by the community before you tour, so the promise sits with the party that can actually keep it.
I already live in San Antonio — do I have to be new to the city to use you?
Not at all. A lot of this search is people already here whose apartment was chosen around a commute they no longer make. If you went remote and the desk ended up in the bedroom, your renewal date is the right moment to re-run the search — and running it costs nothing.
Can you promise I’ll be approved somewhere?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Screening decisions belong to each community and its written criteria — we can tell you what those criteria say before you spend an application fee, and flag anything in your situation worth raising with a licensed human first, but approval is always the community’s call.
Your apartment is also your office. Pick it like one.
Tell us your budget, your call schedule, and what a good workday looks like. We send floor plans that can hold one — with the internet and noise questions already asked.
